You may update your e-mail address, telephone number and notification preference in: My Account. You must come into a branch in order to change your mailing address. Please bring with you proof of residency. For your personal online safety, library card numbers will not be given out over the phone.

View/Renew Checked Out Items
All checked out physical materials may be viewed in My Account. Materials may be renewed in person, via automated telephone 239-920-7474 (follow the prompts), or online via our website using My Account. To renew materials through our website, access the My Account feature. Materials may be renewed if there are no outstanding holds on the items.

Return Materials
All materials, may be returned to any library location in the Collier County library system. Book drops are located at all libraries for returning materials when the library is closed. If separate drops are available for audio/video materials and for books, please use accordingly.
When returning materials to drop boxes, securely place materials within the drop box. The Library may not be responsible for items left outside of drop boxes, at front entrances, on loading docks or on counters. Interlibrary Loan materials may not be left in a drop box, they must be brought to the front desk.

Pay Fees & Fines
You may pay for fines totaling $10.00 or more using a major credit card online from home. Log in to My Account and follow the payment procedures. The My Account feature uses SSL technology and is a secure site. Library privileges are suspended when fines reach $10.00 or more.

Place a Request
Materials may be requested online by selecting the Request button on the catalog record and entering your name, card number, and pick-up location in the request form.
A limit of ten (10) active requests may be maintained at the one time. As a courtesy, patrons are notified via email or automated telephone when their items are ready for pickup. Requested materials will be held at your pick-up location for five (5) business days before hold request expires. You may check the status of your requests via My Account.

Save Items I Want to Read Later
Once you have exceeded your active requests limit, you may create lists of materials that you would like to request in the future, called My Lists. From the catalog, click on the item record and then click on “add to my lists” at the top of the record. You may manage My Lists via My Account.

Reading History
You may maintain a reading history that lists your borrowed items. You must opt-in in order to begin a reading history, and you may opt out at any time. No information from your list is retained when you opt-out, Library Staff do not have access to your checkout history.

Card Expiration
Collier County Library Resident cards expire every three (3) years to verify the patron is a current Collier County Resident. Card expiration date may be viewed at My Account. To renew an expired card, simply visit any library location in person with your photo ID to verify your address and other contact information.
